It has been quite some time since I left the Army. But through the technology now available to me and through the current soldiers serving I have learned about this blogging stuff. I became interested in blogging after reading a book written by Spc. Colby Buzzell ( My War Killing Time In Iraq). After reading Spc. Buzzells book I realized that this would be a great way to get some of my frustrations and thoughts off my chest and possibly share them with like minded individuals.
So here I am it's been about 11 years since I left the Army and I have been seriously dissapointed in what I have come home to. I'm not the same person that I was before leaving to serve in Korea a country that still exsists in a state of war. I served in the 2nd ID and I'm very proud of serving with the Indian Head division.
Comming Home and leaving the service has been a very rough transition that I don't think I've completely made.I don't think I will ever get used to the way civilians wander around aimlessly as if they have no purpose. And this politicaly correct thing really annoys me. It seems to me that we are so affraid of hurting peoples feelings that we would rather lie than say whats on our minds. People I was born in America and I'm white with an Irish name I have never been to Ireland and probably never will go to Ireland not that I have anything against Ireland ,but I'm American born and bred here. So if you call me an Irish American I will probably knock you on your ass. I refuse to call people of color African Americans as a simple matter of respect to the fact that they were born here and therfore they are Americans nothing more nothing less.
I feel that we are being invaded by our little friends from south of the border and we are helping them. By speaking spanish and allowing their children to attend our schools that I might add our tax dollars are paying for not to mention we are teaching them not in english ,but in their native tongue and for what so they can rape our economy then run back south when the snow starts to fall. I just don't get it.
